We acknowledge and mourn the 215 children that never made it home from the Kamloops residential school. We know that the fate of these children is not an isolated atrocity. Though many residential school survivors have been telling these stories for decades, we hope that this discovery will help to support the truth and bring wider recognition to the reality of residential schools. Acknowledging these truths demands action from Canada, its people and its government. We are committed to this work.

Action
At Wachiay Studio, we continue to print orange shirts and other posters/apparel to spread awareness and encourage action. Now, as a screen printer, you can too.
We are sharing two designs below that are free to for non-profit purposes; that is, you cannot make any profit with these designs.

We are a multidisciplinary team with a rich and diverse background who want to empower anyone, anywhere, to start to screenprint.
